How It Works

IN AND OUT OF CONTEXT
The pupil proceeds to the stage where they have to recognise a word in and out of context, e.g. can the child recognise the word "car" from a selection of different fonts and texts. Once it has been established that the child knows the word it can be added to their sentence strip and they can move on to learning new words.

The child experiences feelings of success in recognising words in and out of context. Cognitive ability and language acquisition is improving.
